ICS or GB

Hi. Can anybody tell me what ICS and GB exactly are/do?

These are different versions of Android.

GB = Ginger Bread = Android 2.3

ICS = Ice Cream Sandwich = Android 4.0
JB = Jelly Bean = Android 4.1
