I don't have this phone yet, but the new ICS update makes it more attractive.
Anyways, looking at some of the 1080p HD video samples on YouTube, it appears as though the Xperia P actually records it in 720p and upscales it - you can see jaggy lines in the video. Now, looking at more recent 1080p HD samples (Maybe the uploader's installed ICS? Don't know), it appears the quality is much better (records in true 1080p).
Can anyone confirm if the new ICS update has improved HD video-capture quality? Thanks

Mate, I wouldn't post here if I had checked on YouTube! Those 'hundreds of videos' were before ICS was released for the Xperia P.
