hello sony.I have done the update and i have a problem, i opened the new ics gallery(which is faster than xperia gallery) i was watching my photos and when i closed it i saw that sd card memory from 1g free space went 960mb.At first i told that was mine imagination but i tested it and i saw that every time i use the new gallery it reduces my free space at sd card.what is going on?Did someone else has the same problem and if there is a solution for it?thank u.....

Same problem with xperia mini pro SK17I and ICS 4.04, Gallery thumbnails do not update when connected via msc, when connected with MTP it seems to work better.

.Thumbnail archives duplicate and use a lot os SD space, when the thumbnails in the camera quick access to the gallery update.

I had a similar issue where the wrong thumbnails would be displayed over the actual photos. It cost me a bit since I'd delete a photo based on the thumbnail and find out I deleted the photo I wanted to keep.

I use the ICS gallery, not the Sony Xperia Gallery.

To delete the thumbnails and have the app start over, use a file manager and look for:

Android>data>com.android.gallery3D then rename (or delete) the cache folder.

Although I haven't tested it yet, for the Xperia Gallery, the thumbnail cache should be under:

Android>data>com.sonyericsson.gallery (I'm on an Xperia ray, newer models might have dropped the ericsson name all together)

Hope this helps!
