ics gallery problem?

hello sony.I have done the update and i have a problem, i opened the new ics gallery(which is faster than xperia gallery) i was watching my photos and when i closed it i saw that sd card memory from 1g free space went 960mb.At first i told that was mine imagination but i tested it and i saw that every time i use the new gallery it reduces my free space at sd card.what is going on?Did someone else has the same problem and if there is a solution for it?thank u.....

thanks for your suggestion.if i delete the thumbnails will i have an impact with my photos?

it shouldn't affect the photos but I'm thinking the phone will create new thumbnails since they are needed to organize pictures. I wouldn't worry so much about them, they don't take a lot of space

i agree with you me neither worried and never care for them but when i updated my arc s at ics and saw the problem with the gallery i worry now because it is not logical to have so many photos that all together take 700mb space and now i have and a thumbnail folder with 808mb something is not right here.....

something is going wrong here.if i combine the thumbnail story with my gallery problem i have the sense like when i open the gallery it makes new thumbnails every time for that my sd card memory falls.....

i didn't install it yet,i connected my phone to my pc and i found the thumnail folder but i can't see one one the thumbnails they are too many to see if some of them are double....

I don't think they are doubled but check if worse come to worse just delete them.  but make sure that you create a backup just in case

i noticed something else,all my photo thumbnails in the folder are 42mb but in the thumbnail folder are 2 files each file is 382mb.the first file is THUMBDATA3-1763508120 and the second THUMBDATA3-1927290299 what are this files?can i delete them?

they could be thumbnails for your online folders or music folders, etc.
