ics for xperia s?

i have just got a xperia s and have seen that i can upgrade to ics.... however when i check for updates it says my phone has the latest update, i am in australia and my current android version is 2.3.7. how do i get the update or am i doing something wrong?

Is your SI number on the list?

if it's not on the list and you are locked to  a network, you have to contact them and ask them when are they going to release the update

cheers mate yeah not on the list suppose i just have to wait for vodafone aus to pull their finger out their **** thanks agian
