I used the restore function in my phone and many of my files are missing after the restoration had complete

A few days ago my message had lost and I wanted to restore back.My friend suggested me to use the restore function but after it complete,my files such as photo and contact and even new message had all lost.How can I recover back all of my files or undo the restore and make it back to the phone just like before I did my restoration.Please help:smileyhappy:
