I cannot power on my phone

I have tried to make pictures underwater in the river (NOT salted water) with my Z1 compact and after a few seconds it switched itself off and never turned back on.

When I tried to switch it back on, it vibrates (short followed by long vibration) and blinks with a short red led light. Sometimes blue led light shows up.

After a few attempts, I left it overnight and in the morning tried to connect it to PC Companion to troubleshoot it. Phone not recognized by PC

Tried also the red reset button... no joy!

When connected to PC (Win 😎 Companion, phone vibrates the all time showing blinking red Led light and sometimes a green and blue appear as well.

Is there anyway to recover data, restore it or is the phone broken and needs repair?

If you are unable to get the phone to power up then unfortunately we do not have any way of recovering the data sorry and as such it would need to go in for repair.
