Hi,

Are you using the preinstalled messaging application? Are you sure that you have added a contact or a number when you try to send a text message?

Yes I use the preinstalled application and contact or number also been added.

That sounds strange. As far as I know, you should only receive an error message about no valid recipient when the contact/number is faulty. Could you try to add your own phone number to see if the same behaviour appear?

I'm having the same problem. I've done a bit of testing and I can send messages to contacts that are stored with the national prefix (+44 for me) or if I select the number direct from the contacts (as opposed to the messaging app). Did you guys find a solution for this?

Hi,

A friend of mine had the same issue, all I did was to make sure all phone numbers did not have any spaces in them.. This has seemed to work a treat... It looks like the standard phone app doesn't reconise the number with spaces in. Where the contacts app deos reconise the number with a space, that is why you can send a message through the contacts app.

Hope this helps....
