It's only sounds that. "Xperia Transefer" sounds more easier, but I spent 6 hours before I could transfer a part of my information from other android phone.
The peoples who isn't geek won't flash firmware, if they're smart enough. 'cause 7-8 from ten of them got a brick. Yes, it's their fault in most cases. But they don't know (and don't have to know) deep details of process.
They have to learn how work with flashtool, which firmware to download, what flags to use etc. And they don't understand the process itself.
What could be easier than update BIOS on mainboard? But if you know how much mobo I got to repair after user attempts to do this...
As long as you don't unlock the bootloader and don't flash the wrong firmware (from a different phone) it should be fine.
