How to uninstall Facebook app

Hi,

All applications cannot be uninstalled. If you do not have the option "Uninstall" via Settings > Apps > Tap the app, you cannot uninstall the app. But if the application cannot be uninstalled, you can often choose to disable the application instead by pressing "Disable" via Settings > Apps > Tap the app > Disable.

There's an alternative but you have to root your phone

Even you could visit your service and ask them to perform software updates on your phone some of the inbuilt app will be removed and don't disabled any application as it sometime leads to misbehaving of app specially WhatsApp

How do I uninstall the app as it is taking a lot of place on the device

If it is a system app then you can't I'm sorry to say unless you were to Root and use an app like Titanium backup to uninstall

Hi,

If you uninstall updates for Facebook, it should not take that much space on your memory. And as Thommo said, some applications cannot be uninstalld by default. One thing that you could do is to disable the Facebook application via Settings > Apps > The tab "All" > Facebook > Disable.

I have the same problem. I want to still use Facebook, but the previous version of Facebook doesn't work properly on my Xperia Arc Lt15i. So I must update it. And the last version of Facebook is to large and need more internal space. And Facebook can't move to external memory.
