How to set the hear sound

I am using xperia Z1.

i can't hear the speech  when making a calls.

pl explain have to make any settings for this one.

Could you elaborate? through the ear speaker? loud speaker? headphones?

Simply increase the volume level by volume rocker key at right side of phone.
