Hello!
How do I remove a micro SD card from my Sony Xperia M? I unmounted it in phone settings, removed the back cover but I can't find a way to remove the card.
Could someone describe how should I do that?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you for a quick reply first of all!
Inserting an SD card is easy, but I can't find infos on how to remove it under the link you provided.
I've found a copy of Sony_Xperia_M_and_Dual_Service_Documents.zip with 6 documents in it, but I couldn't find there information on the topic.
So how should I proceed?
Kind regards!
You are welcome!
I haven't M so I can't say what is like exactly
But common ways to remove sd card are:
1.just like sim card you can easily remove it...just drag it
2.you must first push it then it will release so you can remove it
All right, I managed to drag it with a needle. I hooked the card with my needle though one of holes on the metal cover of the card holder and it went out.
Thank you for your support and I wish you a refreshing weekend!
You're welcome
Thanx friend
It is hard to do so, I've hurt my fingers for an hours trying to take it out, lazy design all over.
I'll try the needle.
When the card is put into the slot, it drops down over a small 'lip'. To remove the card, you need to lift the back end slightly as you pull it out - I use a pair of tweezers. Stating the obvious - you need to be careful to lift only the minimum needed to release the card as it is possible to snap it in two
The card drops down over a small lip as Tractorbob3 said.
You can put some pressure on the narrower side of the card through the holder hole(top right side of the holder).
It will lift the card above the lip and you can slide it out using your finger nail.
