How to open file "Library.tdb"?

Hi,

By accident I deleted the pictures in my Media Go, I put the setting to delete the pictures from my SD card after transferring them to the Media Go software. The thumbnails of the pictures are still there, as well as the original file names of the pictures.

Via file recovery software I was able to restore the pictures itself, however the recovery program gave different names to the files. Now I want to use the original file names, as far as I can see these are stored in Media Go in the file "Library.tdb". However, I am not able to get this file opened.

Does someone know how to open the file "Library.tdb" so I can copy the original file names into the recovered files?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Jeroen Groenen

For .tdb files try a program called SlamDB (Data Base Manager) - There a free 60day trial version on cnet

or you may want to try changing the file extension to .txt for notepad or .doc or .docx for M/S word

Thank you for your response. I already downloaded SlamDB, but when I try to open the file "Library.tdb" used by Media Go the following message appears:

An error was detected performing this operation. The error returned was:

The specified database or operation is not supported

Any other program that can be used to open tdb files?

Take a look here and see if any of these help ie: The program mentioned on that page and those at the bottom

Thank you for your reply. I tried to open the links related to the program TBD (version 1.52), but the links seem to be dead. Does anyone have a working link to that program (TBD v1.52)?

Or does anyone know whether Media Go stores its library information in another file than "Library.tdb", e.g. like with the folder structure in an XML file format?
