How to Hard reset Xperia L C2104

Background :
I didn't root my phone

• I didn't unlock the bootloader
• I didn't do any hardware change
• Did nothing. 

Present status :

• I was learning android and was testing an app that I'm developing on my Xperia device C2104 L (India model). 
• While I was testing the app, the mobile got rebooted and isn't booting since then. 
• What appears on the screen was a SONY logo, then XPERIA logo, then the color animation or graphic. It the animation just continues and the device doesn't boot at all. 
• I have tried all the possible ways. 

        I tried entering Recovery mode / Safe mode / Hard reset mode by trying the following ways
        -Volume UP + Power
        -Volume DOWN + Power
        -Both UP+DOWN+POWER
        -Camera+POWER
                But I didn't get into the recovery mode. 
I have given the phone to Sony Service center, but they returned the phone saying DEVICE is ROOTED. But I didn't do anything for rooting and how come the device get's rooted ??

What I want ? 

• Help me boot my device
• Help me how to get into the recovery mode for my particular model 
• Help me how to hard reset the phone
• I am ready to unlock the bootloader
• I am ready to root the phone

Try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

However if your device is rooted then the repair will fail - So this means you will need a .ftf firmware file and Flashtools to manually flash your device

I have tried the method as you said and there was an error message from PC Companion.

I tried flashtools and it got worked.

Connect your device, run flashtool. That's it. 

But for this to work, your device bootloader must have been unlocked before.

As it happens, i am facing a simmilar situation here.. even my xperia L handest has the same situation only it is that it occured after i successfully unlocked my bootloader and ever since that very moment my phone will not boot completely. whenver i'll try switching it on by pressing the power button, it'll start in the very same manner as it always does but then it stucks on that sony graphic waves which keeps passing by from left to right infinitely for hours. i have tried everything but nothing helps.

Please if anyone has faced simillar situations please Help..!! you'll b a life saver..
