How to delete specific sms ?

Hello everyone !

I have a problem with sms with one person in particular. I think it's because I have too many sms. So when I open the discussion, it takes a long time to open and sometimes it blocks. Idem when I want to write a sms.

So my question is : how to delete specific sms without deleting the entire discussion or deleting the sms one by one ?

And an other question : is it possible to store the sms on the sd card ?

thanks, but with this way I can delete sms just one by one. And I have hundreds of sms to delete, so I'm looking for a faster way to do it.

You could backup all your SMS to sdcard using for instance the application SMS Backup & Restore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore

Then you could edit the backup file (I think it is in XML) using your computer.

And then you could restore the modified backup.

The suggested solution does require some skills in file manipulation.

Other options:

1. Wait until someone else posts a suggestion.

2. Search for other SMS-applications which allows multiple delete.

3. Become a master of file manipulation (xml processing, regular expressions, etc)
