How do we hide certain apps?

I have installed some games on my Xperia P and i want to hide those games from the menu list. My cousins and friends from my college keeps asking for my Xperia to play games and its driving me crazy. Is there any app to hide apps? Not the go launcher cause i love my default home screen and i hateGo launcher. I tried HIDE IT PRO but it says phone needs to be rooted, and mine's not rooted. So any other suggestions guys?

there isn't a way to do so other than using another home launcher
