Deleting files

Hello,

on my phone (Xperia P) I have the apps: What's app and Instagram.
Now the problem is that I can't delete a file in a map of 'Whats app images'.
When i selected the picture there wasn't even an option to delete it, but on the other pictures there was.
Now I deleted the whole map with files and the picture is still there.
I tried to delete it by connecting my phone to the computer and delete it from there but it won't work.
I have the same problem with someting of Instagram
I wanted to use the app for changing a photo and then you have to chose between taking a picture and chosing on in your files.
I shose taking a picture but it was a mistake so quickly I tapped it away.
Now I have this -> See picture, and I can't get rid of it, I can't delete it.
It's really annoying.

Hope someone can help me

settings > apps > all > album > clear everything

also you can connect your phone to a computer and delete all the thumbnails

Do what uli said or,using a file explorer,delete the LOST.DIR folder in sd card.
