how do i take screenshots?

Ok so i updated my xperia z to 4.2.2 and it seems i am lost with how to take ss with it. Can someone tell me how to take screenshots on 4.2.2… thanks.

Press and hold Power Button and Volume Down button exactly at the same time and hold them there until you take a screenshot

press the running applications button (to the right of the home button) and on the mini apps bar there is a icon that looks like the Crop tool in picture programs. Press this and it will take a screen shot and add it to the Notes app
