Hi,
according Wi-Fi Alliance's website Xperia Z1 and Z1 Compact has been certified by Passpoint program to support Hotspot 2.0 features.
Is the Passpoint support available in production firmware? Can you share any documentation? I work for major networking vendor and wan't to include Xperia Z1 Compact to demonstration testbed targeted for service providers. I want demonstrate the technology is not limitted only to Sony's biggest two competitors. You can unicast me If you need more details.

Martin
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Passpoint is available in the current firmware. You can enable it under Settings -> Wi-Fi -> [menu] -> Advanced -> Passpoint. Here you also have "Passpoint networks" where you can add a network.
I don't have special documentation about this feature though. If there's any special information you need, please let me know and i'll try to get it for you.
Hi Rickard,
I'm trying to enable it on my device, but I do not have the Passpoint option on WiFi > Advanced menu...
The device details:
Model C5303
Android 4.3
Could you help me on that?
Thanks,
Adriano
Xperia SP does not support Passpoint i'm afraid.
Hi,
Is there any option to configure Passpoint credentials using config file and not create profile manually?
Thanks,
Evgeny
I'm afraid it's not possible to configure Passpoint using a config file.
Hello,
Is there any Java APi to configure Passpoint settings?
Thanks,
Evgeny
