Homepage keeps defaulting back...

I have an Xperia Arc bought from Orange and as a result it is Orange branded with bits of their software. I've managed to get rid of most of the bits I don't want but frustratingly the browser homepage keeps going back to Orange. I know how to change the homepage (browser - settings etc) and the website I want is always there. Regardless of this when I open up the browser it always go to Orange World! Any suggestions?

Hi, since you are familiar with the changing of homepage, I shall not go into it.

I have no idea why you are unable to change it, possibly due to the reason that phone is locked to Orange????

Since you are not able to change the homepage, why not change the browser? I am quite sure that you will be able to change homepage on a different browser. Check out Android Market, there are lots of good ones around .... for free.

I had this before on a T-Mobile device.

Have a look in the programs menu for just Browser, rather than Internet - the Internet shortcut is a straight link to their home page.

Failing that, shift to a different browser, as gwhispererz suggested
