so after my phone was dropped by my darling son the touch screen stopped working (this is a second one as the first phone stopped working all together)
so there's a few spare parts now in various condition
Anyway I bought the replacement digitizer and lcd screen too, just in case
I connected it all and the touch is still not working, the screen lights up but doesn't respond.
But it's not the 'phone' part. I connected cracked digitizer from the first phone and it worked. Only it's cracked (more like smashed) so obviously I wanted to replace it.
Question: is it just a faulty digitizer? because that's how the phone was like before I changed it, and it did respond ok to a different one.
Does it all make sense?
Any suggestions welcome
