help with photo light.. question also..

is photo light really a hardware? i mean can the software update on ICS change it so that its not very annoying to turn it on and off when capturing photos? or make it like the c510 when doing the autofocus the photo light lights up. or just make it flash?

I'm not sure what changes will be made to the photo light/flash in the ICS update.

As slimshaddy, I also believe this is possible to change in the software.
