I have recently tried to use the Android beam feature in my Sony Xperia P but it's not working..I tried beaming content from Google Maps, Youtube from a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone which was running Andoird Ice Cream Sandwich version...I have also tired the same wid Sony xperia S.
the Samsung Galaxy S3 acknowledged the presence of a NFC android beam enabled device(Sony Xperia S) by vibrating...and when I was on Goolge Maps and YOutube it gave me an option to "Tap to Beam"...However while trying the same wid my Sony Xperia P nothing happend
Just to be clear here are the steps i followed,
1. enabled NFC on both devices Samsung Galaxy S3 and my Sony Xperia P.
2. enabled Android Beam on both devices.
3. went to apps which support Android Beam like Google Maps, Youtube Videos etc.
4. held both devices back to back...
and
Nothing Happend
as stated earlier when i tried the same steps wid Xperia S it worked. even tried to beam content from Xperia S to my Xperia P even that didn't work.
Ppl have u ever used this feature, if yes please tell me how to
I haven't been able to beam something between S3 and any of my Xperias, what I get is for either one of the phones to open the Playstore.
do you have any antivirus or taskillers? if you do uninstall them and try again between your Xperias
is Sony spying on users in this forum?
