help needed ## Sony care team don't believe me

Hi all, I have a Z1 c6903, I brought this phone from new as an unlocked to all networks phone from littlewoods only 4 months ago, now straight out the box it had android 4.4.4 kitkat, here's the problem...I sent it to Sony to fix a vibration on it, they sent it back to me fixed But changed the andriod from kitkat to jellybean?? I've messaged them emailed the contacted them but they Insist!! It's always been on jellybean and they haven't changed it, they don't believe me when I'm telling them IT WAS ON KITKAT 4.4.4...they downgraded it, all they tell me is try using your pc to update it, I HAVE... IT WON'T UPDATE... It's stuck on old jellybean 4., why is this?? It had kitkat, does anybody know why or whathe changed my phone? And how to update it to back to how it was, also thinking if it won't update to kitkat then it has no chance of updating to lollipop even though my friend has lollipop now on his Z1, I feel left behind about 3 years behind...

UK Generic firmware here Version C6903_14.4.A.0.157 Generic UK.ftf

Manual flashing - See guide here

You don't need to create a firmware as that's above but you will need the Flashtool program installed and the firmware above placed in the correct folder as directed then follow the guide on how to flash found about half way down

or you can use the full guide to download and create yourself the UK generic LP firmware for manual flashing, the same method is applied to all Xperia devices

Hi, thankyou for this, I've downloaded the firmware, is it kitkat or lollipop? Not unpacked it yet, it's taking a while to unpack

hi again, I  have followed your guide and have downloaded your firmware link, problem is my flashtool program cant find/see the firmware program, now on the guied the downloaded firmware has many file but this firmware i got only has 4 files inside, do i need to unzip it?

I'm in the UK and have the flash tool installed on my pc now, could someone kindly give me the lollypop firmware please, also must be stock firmware as my phone is not rooted, my phone is sony Z1 C6903 and it was a unlocked to Amy network phone from littlewoods, any help would be much appreciated thankyou, I had tried lastnight to flash it but the end result was my flash program telling me something about busybox N/A. But I'm sure that's because the my phone is not rooted, I don't want to root it, just need stock firmware
