Help! Bricked X10 Mini Pro

I have tried to update my X10 mini pro to make android market available. However, I tried to debrand it and the  phone stopped functioning. The touchscreen will not respond (thus, it is  stuck on the "Select language" page. I've noticed that the 2 big files  in the Sony Update Service that was supposed to replaced and disappeared.
However, PC companion, PC suite does not seem to be able to  fix/recognize the phone. I have tried also to work with "Update Service" but It inform me that the software is up-to-date.

I've spent over 4hrs searching and attempting  to fix this but without any sucess. Please help.

I am new in android phones so I want a cheep, simple and free way to fix the phone. I am not care about the existing data so It will be acceptable if there is a way to re-install the software.

Please response as soon as possible. I have updating my X10mini pro with X10 mini (E10) files by mistake.
Now, I have a big problem, the phone does not respond. touch screen does  not work and I can not mount the phone to the usb port to do the update  again with the correct files. Sony Ericson pc companion and update  service doesnt work in my case.

Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Well considering you have tried to debrand it you will have voided your warranty so you wont be able to send it back. Since Sony Ericsson Update Service and SE PC Companion dont work either I guess you are stuck.

I do not know if this will work, but it is worth a try.

1. Fully charge your phone battery.

2. Remove the battery from the back after switching device off.

3. Wait 15-20 seconds and replace the battery back in, but don't turn the phone on.

4. Download the correct firmware.

5. Repeat your firmware flashing procedures.

If it does not work, try going to XDA Developer forum for help. Ask the programmers/hackers.

Try Omnius, it should work.

It worked for me, I tried to hack the firmware myself so I could get a custom Android 2.2 firmware.

I shall admit I failed epically, and all because of Sony not bothering about their customers/users.

You will need to either login or register with Omnius. It is free to use (for flashing phones) at the moment and uses the Supreme Credits server.

Thanks for your info but are you sure that's free?? I tried it two days ago and it told me that the promo has been ended.

Did you try it after 1.sept 2010??If yes, would you please tell me how can I deal with it?

I would also take the previous advice and have a look over on XDA developers forum for infor/advice if you can't get sorted with the suggestons here.  Just found a link to this thread on there... might help you http://www.xperiax10.net/2010/04/14/debrand-your-xperia-x10-tutorial/  it gives info on bricked phones underneath the instructions.

I believe that flashing phones is still free, according to the main Omnius website, however follow Suze's advice.

And XDA is always one of the first places you should go.
