Help - adding words to Ray dictionary

I've just purchased the Ray, very pleased as its easy to use.

One question - how do I add a word to the dictionary when texting ?  For instance I like to to shorten thought to thgt - but having to type it without predictive on everytime.  With my old Nokia you can save word and use again and again.

Any ideas ???

If you are using the International keyboard, long press the settings button (globe and small spanner) then select text input settings and ensure that Learn Words is ticked.

If you then type the word once and it is unknown it will give you the word you have typed first in the suggestion line and then what it thinks you want highlighted in blue with other suggestions following.

If you tap on the word you actually typed it should automatically add it to the dictionary for you. Just tried it with your example and works fine.
