heating issues with xperia zl

I have got sony xperia zl just a day old phone and its getting overheated while browsing and when i use the phone for more than half an hour , what should i do

Tha't pretty much normal and you don't have to worry about it.

May I know what software version your Xperia ZL is running on ?

If it's any lesser than android 4.2 then I suggest you run SUS to check if 4.2 is available for your Xperia Yet.

SUS ( Sony Update Service) ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions
