Headset not working

I bought my Sony Xperia J two weeks back . Till few days ago, my headsets were working fine. But now, when i plug them in, they wont respond at all. The music keeps on playing on the phone itself. This is the same headset i received in the pack of my Sony Xperia J when i purchased it. This same headphone seems to work fine on my laptop and even other cellphones .. Please give me a solution. I can't go any further without Hard Rock Music. . .

Try pressing your headphone a bit lower it worked for me ..I dont think there may be any problem with your one either.

Naah... I tried plugging in my headphones in every angle possible.. Problem's sorted out after getting a new Headphn... Only solution i got
