Headset issue after z3 update to 6.0.1

After the latest update, i've been having problems using my headset with my phone. It works fine when used to make phone calls, but when I try to listen to a music or a video, I can't hear a thing. I've tried several headsets but same issue. How to fix this?

Brand new xperia x. Having same problem. Even the headphones supplied with the phone don't work. Major disappointment.

Tried safe mode but still having the same problem

@uliwooly tried that earlier. Same problem. Have contacted my supplier and the phone is being replaced.... In four weeks, or tomorrow if I want a rose gold phone, no good for a bloke!!! Thanks for the help anyway
