headphone jack

I have had an xperia z1s for only about 8 months and I now plug in headphones and my sound comes out much louder in the left headphone, I have tried multiple headphones to test this and it's proved correct. any easy fix rather than paying lots of $ to have my phone fixed?

Check if there's anything inside the 3.5mm jack also you could repair the phone with PCC and see if that solves the issue
