Has Sony already dropped Xperia Z?

Just wondering, I've noticed everything is right now about the Xperia Z1, have not been hearing anything on the Xperia Z since the Z1 came out. All of Sony's posts on Facebook, Google+ and even on youtube have all been about the Z1. I can understand that you're trying to market the Z1 but at such a quick re-work of the Xperia Z1, where does that leave the Xperia Z? Seems to me that persons who have bought the Xperia Z (including me) have been downed by it due to very little publicity or recognition.

So tell me Sony, are you guys activly working with the Xperia Z to output major fixes and updates? or have the Xperia Z been shadowed by Z1 and us Xperia Z users are just going to be shadowed and abandoned. 

Xperia Z is still a very recent phone and too me it's not getting the support it needs. It's either that or their using Xperia Z1 as the benchmark and porting it's UI and features to Xperia Z in the near future major update. 

I'm lost due to no publication or news / announcements of such.

Yesterday you probably saw Google announce the next version of Jelly Bean (Android 4.3) – we’re already getting stuck in and can confirm we’ll make 4.3 available for: Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia SP and Xperia Z Ultra…

We’re also looking at uplifting some of our other devices running 4.1 direct to 4.3 – we’ll share more info / deets / timings when we can, so be sure to follow @SonyMobileNews for all the latest.

I have that software update. I'm wondering about 4.3 progression update, I know it's going to be a hush situation but atleast a Work-In Progress should settle some minds as to know that it's being worked on activily.
