I purchased Xperia Z1 Purple on 31st August,2014 from Alfa [Irla Society, Vile Parle(W), Mumbai - 56]. The shop had Xperia sales representative. Just half hour after the purchase, the phone hanged, got heated up and nothing could be seen on screen. After 5 minutes, it switched off though the battery was 48%. I went back to the store (Can be verified using the CCTV footage of the shop) but the representative said it is because the phone isn't fully charged and its in operation for the first time. Later on 2nd September, the phone hanged up again, got heated up and nothing could be seen on screen but the screen back light was glowing. The phone though wouldnt either be switched off. The battery was 74%. Then after some four hours the back light dimmed and when I put the phone on charge, battery was 1%. Again today(16th September) the same thing happened. Hangng up of the phone, back light on, phone getting heated up. Then after one and half hour charge was 1% while I put it to be charged when the screen backlight dimmed. I have earlier sent three emails regarding this. But have never received a reply from your side. It is just 3 weeks that I have purchased it and so many problems are occuring. I am disappointed with Sony. I am going to start posting this on Social media now if I dont receive a satisfactory reply.
