GPS problems on Z1

A few other people have had this issue but from what I can find, none of them got the issue sorted. 

The GPS has stopped working on my Z1 and has been like this for a while. The GPS Test app tells me that I’ve got 16 satellites in view but 0 in use and cannot get a fix. I’ve tried everything that I can possible try to get this fixed: factory reset the phone, updated software, reset all GPS data and some other things that I can’t even remember but nothing has worked. So i figured I'd send it to Sony to fix it, but I’ve just received the phone back today and it’s still got the exact same issue.

This is extremely frustrating as i don’t want to have to buy a separate satnav unit when my phone should be able to do it.

Does anyone know anything about this issue???

Are you indoors when trying this? Can't say I have an issue as mine works fine

No im not indoors, i wish it was such an easy fix but ive had this problem for a few months now. Sony is telling me to send it back to them so if I cant find anything else to try I dont think ive got much choice but to send it back.
