GPS - no fix

Hello,

After having done many search on forums, I didn't find anything to help me. So, here is a new post...

I have a new Z1 compact running Android 4.4.4 (build 14.4.A.0.157) .
I unlocked the bootloader following the offical procedure provided by SONY.
I've rooted it.

Everything works properly, excepted GPS.

The GPS "sees" satellites (sometimes more than 20), but never fix them (even after hours).

Has anybody a good idea ?

Could it not be a firmware issue and it isn't the correct one for your country

Maybe.  It comes from China and I'm trying to use it in Europe.

But when I reset the phone using Emma (factory reset, excepted the bootloader which remains unlocked), the firmware was reinstalled.

Do you mean that this firmware might be a chinese one and that could be the reason why the GPS is not working well in Europe?  (/system/etc/gps.conf has been well configured for Europe).
