Google Search eating battery :(

I have xperia s with jelly bean 6.2.B.1.96. I was observing from last 3 days that Google Search app using battery like everything like today Google Search used about 20% of my phone's battery and another app which comes second in the list is Google Services which used 16% . I really dont use Google Search at all and today i didnt even connected my phone to internet then why they eating my battery so much. i tried to force stop application but next time when i wake up my phone its still running. Please help me to resolve this issue. THANKS IN ADVANCE

Hello friend,

I have found that the process that drains the battery in this JB version are Google Location Services, Google Now, Bluetooth Media Share...

Now I use bluetooth a lot, including music and that one I can't turn off.... but I keep both Location Services and Google Now turned off at all times...

As an additional tip try to avoid having a short update interval for Facebook and Twitter... I actually have it turned to manual instead... so they do not refresh unless I do it myself...

Finally the other app I see that drains too much for what it is is BlackBerry Messenger... BBM uses much more than Whatsapp, Viber or Hangouts... and I barely used it compared to the others I mentioned.
