Display Lagging after 4.2.2.

After 4.2.2 update when I'm playing or recording videos there is a visible lag at the screen. The lag is visible in the area of the bar with battery info, wi-fi info & etc.

There's no lag after update in my phone.

I suggest you perform update again with PCC or SUS or Factory reset (Settings-Reset & factory)

Update Service (SUS)

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

First I updated the phone via Update Center, then I re-updated (fixed) via PCC, now I'm doing factory reset to see if this will help.

Sure do it and let us know.

Nope, noting helped in my case. The lag is still here, even after factory reset and update via SUS.
Doh, it's awful. I want the previous android version or at least my money back. Grinning_Face
I'm wondering if someone from Sony tested the update before the release.

Is there something like downgrade? Grinning_Face

You can downgrade but your warranty will void.

Have you seen any lag in safe mode?

Switch off your phone and start again while wave comes hold volume down button and check if you see any lag there or not? Face_with_stuck-out_Tongue

There is lag in Safe Mode.  Worried_Face

How frequent are the updates? I'm asking, because the Xperia L is my first android device.

I made a video to show the issue that i'm defining with "lag". You can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkzyuHYEH2I  Watch next to the Sony logo.

Contact your nearest service center and ask for downgrade they will do it.
