Google play services stopped working

I have a sony xperia aqua m4 and as of this morning the message "unfortunately, google play services has stopped" keeps appearing on my screen. i google the problem from my pc but seems the solutions are generic and i cannot complete them as instructed with my phone. Are there any solutions for this particular phone? This is very frustrating! Thanks

It still just kicks me back to the app when i click on the manage space. I can't get to clear any data

Hi again. Sorry but none of the suggestions have worked. Is there any way to reset the phone to factoy? Could this solve my problem or should I take it back to where I purchased it? Thanks again
