Google play services and camera have ''stopped working''

Google play services and camera have ''stopped working''

I have no idea what's going on, but just yesterday my phone has started to malfuntion.

A pop up window keeps appearing ''Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped''. I have to click it around 6 times before it stops popping up, this happens frequently every minute.

When I try to use my camera it says ''Unfortuantely, Camera has stopped''

When go onto Settings, Half of the menus are un usuable. If I click one that's ''broken'' It closes itself immediatley.

The sub menus that do this are:

- Wi-Fi

- Bluetooth

- Data usage

- Home

- Display

- Sound & notification

- Storage

- Apps

- Tap & pay

- Security

- Accounts

- Language & input

- Date and time

- Accessability

- Printing

- About phone

There may very well be other things that aren't working on the phone that I'm unaware of.

I can't manage to find out why this is happening to my phone, since I haven't done anything out of the ordinary but it is driving me insane.

I really want to make sure this can be fixed, since my phone is second hand and I can't afford to replace it.

Thanks for the help.

Niko.

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

I had the same problem, but is was the "Unfortunately, Google Play Services has stopped working." It popped up every 20 seconds and then stopped for like 10 minutes or so. Every time I tried using a Google related app/product it popped up nonstop. I fixed today by:

Step 1: Tap settings
Step 2: Go to Device
Step 3: Tap Apps
Step 4: Go to the All Apps section (Usually at the far right end.
Step 5: Scroll down to Google Play Services and tap it.
Step 6: Tap Manage Space.
Step 7: If it says internal error and/or Google Play Services has stopped. Ignore it and hit clear all data.

This has worked for me and nothing really worked before I tried this. I can actually play PlayStation 4 again without nonstop errors popping up.

Hope this works.
