Go keeps syncing

After JB update the phone keeps syncing although I've chosen to not autosync the account. Ofcourse I would like Whatsapp to sync auto, and also my private e-mail. But corporate e-mail only on manual request. But no matter what settigns I try to use the phone keeps syncing automatically. Also when I set all accounts on manual sync, the phone still automatically syncs the accounts. It is not a single Xperia Go problem, because I have two of these phones with the same problem. Hope someone has found a solution.

Is your corporate email an Exchange account?

Make sure that you have unmarked email sync under settings > accounts > Exchange ActiveSync > press on the email address > unmark email. 

Also open the email application > menu button > settings > your email address > inbox check frequency > select manual.
