Gmail app doesnt sync an emails on time

Hello All,

the issue is that Gmail app doesnt sync an emails on time.

When the email arrives to the main mailbox Gmail app doesnt catch it even ater 2 hours of waiting. I tried to tap sync button manually but didnt help. It may arrive in the evening or later... but I can not wait because use this mobile mailbox to trace my business emails. Now I have 4 new emails in my gmail mailbox and nothing arrived to Sony Xperia Z Gmail application.

How to resolve this very disappointing mess?

And the gmail sync is checked in the google account settings it self, too?

although I didn't have any issues with the gmail app I did however set gmail up as an account in the email app as I have other email accounts there too so they are all in one plce, you could try that as an alternative and see if it works - haven't heard of anyone having the same issue as you have - I'd be inclined to lean towards a network issue rather than a phone or app issue - are you using a data connection or wifi - have you tried both ?

yes, everything is settled to sync automatically. But doesn't make sense.

I have 4G/3G connection and 100Mbit internet from mobile network and also use Wi-Fi connection

yes, I have this email application as well for 2 other corporate account and there everything works fine. Cant complain about anything there. Only problem with Gmail app.

put your gmail into the email app - that is what I suggested and see if you have issues, I suspect there is maybe some interaction going on with your corporate accounts and the gmail app or maybe you have anti virus installed

all I can tell you is that this is not a problem with anyone else - only you

so add gmail to your email client like I suggested
