ghost typing on my phone

So I've have my Sony compact z3 for ~2 months and I have a glass screen protector.
I drop it from my bed sometimes and sometimes it comes in the shower with me when I listen to music, it doesn't get that wet.

I've recently had an issue where when I am typing random swipes occur and type random things and when I swipe randomly on the screen it's not swiping where I want it to. It lasts for a few seconds and goes back to normal.

Also sometimes when I press the backspace key it inputs words for me automatic automaticcly. I do have that thing where it suggests words for me turned oN.

 About automatic typing when you delete words,that is something related to chrome (using xperia keyboard and not sure if others behave the same).

Hi dynn, welcome to the community!

In relation to the random swipes and ghost typing, you could try clearing the data for Xperia keyboard if you haven't already and see if that helps. If it doesn't I would then advise running a software repair on your phone, this can be done using PC Companion if you have a PC or Bridge for Mac for Mac users. 

You can clear the data by going into Settings > Apps > All > Xperia keyboard > Clear data. 

If you don't like word suggestions you can turn this feature off under Settings > Language & input > tap the black spanner crossed over the wrench next to Xperia keyboard > tap Word suggestions > change it to the desired option. Hope this helps!
