games lagging problem

hi everyone , when i play high end games like nova 3 and  modern compat 4 the game runs perfectly for about 5 min then it starts to lag very badly and the phone becomes very hot ,, my c6602 is upgraded to the new firmware and the temperature is about 30 c in my country , in case it helps

It is a known issue. The problem is, when device becomes hot due to high load like gaming, after a while it is decreasing processor's speed to lower the temperature. Maybe it would be possible to decrease MHz a little bit less?

But this only Sony or Qualcomm can answer.

thank u very much, so it's not abnormal? I mean does every sony Xperia z have the same issue in high temperature condition?

It seems that every android device have this issue in high temperature. Is is OS related.

so here's what i got from your answer : in areas which have cool weather the phone will rarely reach that heat which makes it decrease processor's speed  even while playing high end games , but in areas which have hot weather like here in egypt (some times it reaches 40c) the phone will reach that heat rapidly because of the hot weather, is that your point??

Same problem here in my case some low end games like Temple run OZ also laggs.In addition to that i can't even use my Camera when device is hot

Yes, that's the point, and it comes to every fast / high end phone, not only Xperia Z. Besides, unfortunately we do not know how much is the speed reducing. However, many times lag appears because of lack of optimisation of the code by developer. Ask developer of the game to optimise the code for Xperia Z processor and gpu.

It will close processes if the temperature gets to high and will eventually close itself down after giving you a message about overheating. Until you see any message about it, it's all good."

i too experiencing lag in small games like temple run, subway surfer. And phone is also not much warm. Temperature here was 28C last night. Even then the games were lagging.
