Fullscreen picture viewer?

Hi, loving my Z tab, my only question is, is there a setting to allow me to view pictures in full screen mode? Currently there is a bar at the bottom with the home etc buttons. Seems a bit crazy to have this size tablet and then have 10mm of the bottom of the screen unaccessible!
I know that in one of the slideshows it does go to fullscreen, but l wish to scroll through the pictures myself.
Any help would be appreciated, Roo.

Thanks for the response, l already use Quickpic as it has a setting for explorer mode which keeps intact my folder tree (l have all pics on external card, 37gb worth), but this has the same border at the bottom. I've tried some of the other viewers, but most have the singularly useless idea of lumping all my pics into random folders, or sort in some other way l don't wish.
This has to be Sony's inplementation of Android, it just seems daft not being able to view pictures at the limits of the screen, as l bought this primarily as a portable picture viewer.

Hi!

I got Xperia Z tablet yesterday. Nice tablet. Still learnig to get all out of it.

I found QuickPic viewer, with it I can show photos in full screen, without any "soft buttons"

Settings/View/Auto hide soft keys is the solution.

Hi Harri-Finland,

Went into settings, but no softkey hide option. Updated quickpic and voila, option is now there. It makes such a difference. Only problem is as soon as I swipe to next picture, all the buttons come back, and I have to swipe again. Doh!!

Well, nearly there, probably another update will solve this, I'll mail the developer to see if what I want is possible. I'm no Apple fanboy, but all I want is for it to work like an iPad!! Sheesh, how hard can it be?

Thanks for posting, I probably wouldn't have realised, as quickpic doesn't seem to autoupdate.
