I was trying to flash SE Xperia neo with your MT15i_4.0.2.A.0.42_Global FTF file in latest flashtool (0.9.13.0) and flashtool won't recognize file?
I fallowed all steps in this guide http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Android-development/GUIDE-How-to-Install-Jelly-Bean-ICS-Ice-Cream-Sand...
Thanks in advance
re-download flashtool and the ftf file
How to manually update, downgrade, root 2011 Xperias
Thanks for reply
I downloaded FTF from link you posted and reinstalled flashtool, but same thing.
Install PCC or SUS on your PC > restart your PC > disable your firewall and antivirus > run SUS > follow the steps > connect your phone > this should download the correct drivers, which error do you get?
I have already installed SUS. When I open flshmode flastool not reads 4.0.2.A.0.42 ftf ( I put the file in the folder firmwares in flashtool and also tried to drag and drop). But when I tried with firmware 4.0.2.A.0.62 flashtool recognize ftf file.
But I need to flash 4.0.2.A.0.42 firmware.
That's quite odd, my only suggestion is to look for other ftf files and/or try a different computer as well as flashtool
I tried it on another computer but nothing has changed. After that I was trying to change flashtool version, and version 0.6.9.1 recognizes 4.0.2.A.0.42.
But but now there is another problem, in that flashtool version there is no option to exclude TA. My phone is sim unlocked, I read on some forums that the
problem of sim locking appeared after flashing. I'm afraid that this does not happen to me. Is it possible to lock the phone after flashing with flashtool?
I have not seen that
So, it is not possible to lock the phone with flashing, right?
I haven't seen this, I don't think so
