Frustrated from the camera compression!!

i hate to say but its a big dissapointment that a 5mp cam is taking a 700-800kb shots.. what the hell is this?

is SONY doing anything about it ??

please tell me this compression thing will not be there in upcoming updates?

but no 1 is responding to it .. and update should have come till now.. not even the mods are replying .. this is bad

this is basically supposed to be a good cam phone..but its all so dissapointing

I'm sure that the default Android Camera it's better, yeah it might not include 3D panorama or Panaroma but there are apps for that

i wish we could control the compression ratio..

i feel embarrassed when i take pics with my friends.. coz my friend has lg optimus p500 which has 3mp cam and it takes 700-800kb pics and my cam which is 5mp with flash almost die and couldnt even reach 800kb

I feel embarrassed that an "icrap phone 3Gs" can take better pictures than my Xperia Arc, not w/ low light, and if not better at least same quality, now that's quite pathetic
