The camera is VGA (480p):

Do not expect too much in low light. However in normal light,it should be fine.

Try to position yourself the reverse way, with light to be on your face.

Do you have a screen protector on the front? I know that VGA cameras are not giving wow performance, but I think that natural light or even well used light can help a little in this case.

no i havent got any screen protector..i know vga is not so good but i feel so dissapointed from this..i cant understand why..this is a photo at the same room with the same lighting from the galaxy's vga front camera. i dont know so many things for this subject but all the photos seems really dark,i just hope there is a problem here..

This image is not from a front camera, sorry to tell you.It is a 5MP photo from the back camera of your samsung.

Nice dog by the way.
