Flashing FTF

Hello everyone,

I have an Xperia Z3 D6603 and i want to know what happens if i flash an FTF with flashtool on it. I lose my warranty? I lose DRM keys and all the functions that are linked to them?

You won't lose the DRM keys but it could void the warranty

May I know how and why you say this? Also how can I check that functions related to DRM are working?

I can assure you that you'll not lose DRM keys when flashing FTF, I've done it hundreds of times, you'll lose them only if you unlock bootloader, and you can't do this without using a special Sony portal.

For warranty, as a general rule most distributors won't void your warranty if you flash a firmware. But some will do and you should review your warranty statement about this.
