Hey people, I've flashed my X10 mini(E10a) with a E10i firmware, and I've tried to get back with the E10a but the PC Companion says that its not possible to update, and SEUS says that I have the newer version.
What I do?
Thanks!
You wont be able to.
So....theres nothing to do?
If I get the phone to the repair, will they get it fixed?
What's wrong with the phone then?
I'm not sure as they usually check that the phone matches the same cda data as to when it was first purchased.
Oh s***!
When the update to Android 2.1 be released, will I be able to receive this?
I've heard about a program, called Omnius, do you know it?
Well, nothing wrong till now, but I want to get back with the stock firmware, in the case of using warranty or something like this, and to see if it will works good again(with the stock, because I was having a problem with the GPS, and after the flash to E10i it works good).
Have you tried to use the repair option on either PCC or SEUS? That can sometimes force software back on to your phone, it will wipe all your data tho.
The other thing I might suggest is have a wander over to XDA developers site and have a look at their rooting sections on the mini's. Its all a bit out of my comfort zone I'm afraid but you might get some suggestions.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Well, like I said, PC Companion and SEUS don't give me a repair option. PC Companion gives me an error message, telling me to check my internet connection(and its working very well), and SEUS only tell me that I have the last update, don't give me a repair option.
About the rooting, if I root my Mini will I be able to receive new updates? Cant I "unroot" it?
Will I be able to flash back my stock firmware again?
Thank you!
I assumed you had rooted your phone already because I had previously seen info on XDA about not mixing up the X10i and X10a versions when doing so on the biggies and assumed it was the same with the mini's. I am obviously barking up the wrong tree!
