Fastboot flashing unlock

Hi, do any developers on here know if the fastboot command 'fastboot flashing unlock' can be used on the Xperia Z5 and what it's effects are apart from disabling dm-verity? Sony live chat even refuse to answer if it can be run or not as it "modifies the software", even though there is no information on if it can be run or not.

You will have to unlock the bootloader which will void the warranty, the DRM keys will be gone, and some apps/services will not work again, but the best place to check is the XDA Forum.
