failed lollipop update HELP

I followed the steps on my pc to update the device. Step 1 was to leave it plugged in and said it might turn off. It did.

Step 2 said to follow the instructions on screen which include turning it off....but the tablet never turned back on. Still, i followed the steps as they were described and the pc never saw my tablet. I followed the troubleshooting section which said to hold down power and volume. Now i get no LED any time. Not from power, plug in, magnet charge. Nothing. The tablet wont turn on.

Did this uodate just brick my tablet!?

Ive had this thing for less then a month, my accessories are still in the mail! Pleade help me someone

connect the tablet to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 hours > repair it with PCC

Performing a system repair using PC Companion - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

When u say hold power and up at the same time are you talking about entering fastboot with the blue led on? Cause i tried that this morning and tge light wouldnt go blue, hence why i was so terrified. But i will try it again when i get home. Also im running 8.1 so i will try in compatibility mode

I am holding the power and volume up as mentioned but not getting any type of response from the tablet. no blue light, nothing. wall charger has no response either.

my pc companion is stuck in a seaching for tablet on the top, and after going into the software update section, its stuck in "please wait..."

Try my suggestion.

Connect the tablet to a wall charger > press and hold the power & volume up keys at the same time for more than 10 seconds > let the tablet charge for 2 or 3 hours, even if it doesn't seem to be working, then try again with PCC

OMG I'm so glad your still here!

I did as you said about half an hour ago so hopefully in another hour or 2 I can try again.

For the record though, my tablet was at 100% and it only took about 10 minutes for pc companion to brick it so I dont think its a dead battery. Like i said i didnt get my blue light either. Will report what happens after I let it charge a bit longer.

Also...seems international editions have no warranty...so you are truly my last hope uliwooly

We are here to help, this has happened to me on multiple Xperias, just let it charge 3 hours, it should work. Make sure it is a wall charger and not a computer or magnetic charger/Dock
